Nedelle and Thom's Summerland is a collaboration between Nedelle, whose debut album was released on Kimchee records last spring, and Thom Moore, who is one half of the duo, the Moore Brothers. Though both live in the Bay Area, the album was recorded in Cambridge, Ma., by Andy Hong. It features Gavin McCarthy and Jeff Goddard, the rhythm section from the band Karate. Musically, Summerland is informed by the Girl Group sound of the 60's, and especially Dionne Warwick.
